Baron Baptiste's Teacher's Bootcamp is an exclusive hands-on opportunity for those who understand that a yoga teacher's deepest responsibility - and ultimate reward - is the ability to transform the lives of individuals seeking physical and spiritual growth - leading them to a healthier state of existence.

Teacher's Bootcamp is an environment of extraordinary standards. A total Immersion in which you and your peers will demand more of yourselves and each other than anyone could reasonably expect - and grow more than you could ever imagine.

Teacher's Bootcamp is not for everybody. There will be an application process to determine admittance. It is not an opportunity to learn traditional yoga philosophy and history. It is an opportunity to learn how to meld the perfect blend of technical knowledge and radiant spirituality into your teaching style. The focus will be on all aspects of teaching and living the principles of yoga within a contemporary context and language. It is an exclusive opportunity to grow, connect, and contribute to your overall growth as a teacher and/or as a person.

The Baptiste Power Yoga Institute (BPYI) offers one of the most holistic and comprehensive yoga Teacher Training programs in the country. Our trainings focus on authentic, strong, safe and effective teaching. This course curriculum includes a detailed exploration of the asanas that make up the hugely popular Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga flow practice, as well as philosophy, sequencing, hands-on adjustments, practice teaching, creating a dialogue, how to teach beginners and how to deal with common injuries.

BPYI is committed to clear, consistent standards ensuring trainees have the ability to teach with the highest level of skill while honoring their own unique voice. The BPYI Teacher Training program gives participants the tools to be able to teach classes that integrate the principles, philosophies, and bio-mechanical knowledge that are the pillars of the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute's foundational practice sequence.

This is a powerful Introductory training that will set the stage for great teaching, deeper learning and opens the door for on-going education into the other Baptiste immersion trainings and bootcamp programs offered by BPYI that build on each other and will give trainees the mentoring and exponential growth, depth and skills necessary to develop into seasoned and high impact teachers.

About the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga (BPVY) Style

We offer world class yoga instruction that adapts the practices and processes to individual needs. We give emphasis to clear language and a strategic technique that makes power vinyasa yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level, age, experience or background.

The Baptiste Method of Yoga was founded in the 1940's by Walt Baptiste and has constantly evolved to stay current with contemporary needs. The physical aspects of Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga style are inspired by the hatha yoga teachings of Krishnamacharya and his students Iyengar and Desikachar.

Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga emphasizes training the mind, establishing self-esteem, opening up to grace, the integration of breath and movement, focus on technical and biomechanical knowledge, adapting each asana to unique individual needs, and building effective and clear themes that deepen the student's experience and understanding of a transformational personal practice.

The Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga practice provides a metaphoric experience to discover more about personal power, self-esteem, personal boundaries, safety, self-acceptance, inner surrender and responsibility.

Yoga and Meditation practice are used experientially and metaphorically to encourage participants to reclaim their full potential; discover creativity, find passion, and experience confidence and caring about the body in order to live in higher alignment and to share their experience with others.

Anyone at any level of yoga experience who seeks a greater understanding of Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga and its multi-dimensional qualities of physical stature, mental training, deeper spiritual connection and the life skills needed for continued personal and professional growth and enrichment. Participants with as little as three months and as many as thirty years experience have found this Journey Into Power Teacher Training Bootcamp immersion process to be enlightening and deeply transformational. We will sell this Teacher's Bootcamp on a first-come, first-serve basis, by application only. Please do not wait to apply; our bootcamps sell out well in advance. Typically people who wait until the last minute do not get in. Enrollment is extremely limited.
