Nick clark
Nick Clark, Co-founder of Spotted Dog Yoga & SUP in Folsom, California, Tier 3 Certified Baptiste Leader, and host of the Play Hard & Love Big Radio podcast. A former NCAA Division II National Champion and All-American soccer player, Nick translates the discipline of elite athletics into his high-energy teaching style. From pioneering Folsom’s SUP yoga scene to leading summer sessions for the Yoga on the Mountain series at Bogus Basin in Idaho, Nick empowers his community to find their edge and live by his signature motto: “Play Hard, Love Big.”

I went into Level 1 as a practitioner for over 20 years. My body intuitively knew the Baptiste flow, but articulating it as a teacher requires a different skillset. The training gave me the language required to translate what I already knew as a practitioner into the language needed to powerfully articulate the flow as a teacher. Meanwhile, my own practice went from being passive to active, enhancing my own experience on the mat.
